Book cover crit

Man, I have not attended a design crit in a while—

It was so fun! Thanks to an unexpected invite from Natalie Davis (www.missnatalie.com) at the Art Institute of Austin, I got to spend a few hours with some design students talking about book cover stuff: typography, illustration, color... As well as fleas, ticks, kiwi birds, tats, Lone Star beer, and unicycle football. Go figure.

Also came across this video today—a tour of RISD by John Maeda. I just love his enthusiasm.
